Located at ACTA Broedplaats in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, this studio space has two rooms and large hallways with plenty of storage for large projects. Through the years, this space has accommodated puppeteers, painters, sculptors, photographers and furniture makers. This space has access to the main ACTA courtyard, making it ideal for loading in and out.
The main studio space is 33sq meters and there is an additional tiled room that is 3sq meters. The space also includes a 11 x 1.2 meter long hallway with and comes with built in racks for storage.
The full rent for the space is €735.80 per month and can easily accommodate 4 artists. There is a shower and laundry on site for all kinds of messy creatives. Pictures and more information below.
MAIN WORKSPACE and KITCHEN AREA - the main studio room measures 6 meters by 5.5 meters. Kitchen and table can stay with the space if needed.
CORNER WORKSPACE - approximately 2 meters by 3.5 meters
COMMUNAL TABLE and ADDITIONAL CORNER WORK SPACE - with outside facing door. The corner on the right side measures 5 meters x 2 meters.
SECOND STUDIO ROOM - Perfect for ceramics, storage or sanding. This room is 2.1 meters long and 1.3 meters wide.
HALLWAY WITH STORAGE - This hallway is a full 10 meters long by 1.5/1.8 meters wide, not including the storage racks on the back wall.

ACTA Broedplaats is located next to Raddion and TCA Student housing. There is low cost parking on site and easy access to public transit.

Paid parking is €1.50 an hour
Ring from East - Head east on A10, exit 9 to merge onto Europaboulevard/s109 - Use left lane to take the ramp onto A10 - Continue on A10 to Amsterdam Nieuw-West - Take exit 7-Amsterdam-Slotervaart-Knooppunt De Nieuwe Meer - Turn left onto Henk Sneevlietweg/s107 - Turn right onto Johan Huizingalaan/s107 - Turn left onto Louwesweg - Turn left just before the transit stop into the ACTA parking lot.
